Warp Pipe

The Idea

So a friend of mine printed me a pencil pot idea I had. And I am sure you can guess from the pictures what it is. A printed !!

Customizing

Once I had the printed model, I cleaned up any waste resin the printed had left behind before proceeded to paint.

Although the was printed in green, I felt it wasn’t the right colour green so I went over the with a darker green that more resembles the colour of the pipes in the Mario games.

I then edited and printed out the “bricks” from the Mario games and cut them to size. Then stuck them on the bottom on the pipe to make it look the ground. I also painted the bottom rim on the pipe a brown colour to kind of match the printed bricks.

Finished Pipe

After completing all the customization, I added my pencils etc to the pot and posted it on Instagram for everyone to see! I had a very positive response and enjoyed creating this new little piece of gaming merch!
